Every year the second Monday of October is #DefineYourselfDay and the start of #DefineYourselfWeek.

On #DefineYourselfDay you are encouraged to declare to yourself, your friends, your family, your co-workers, and the world that you are no longer the challenge, the obstacle or the adversity, the limitation and/or the setback that has held you back from the success you have dreamed of and deserve.   Starting today you are not allowing the past or anyone other than yourself to define who you are, instead you are beginning a journey where you will #DefineYourself to yourself and to the world.

#DefineYourselfDay is the day you take inventory of yourself, accept who you are and the things that you cannot change, while finding your courage to take control of your life and make the changes you need to succeed.

This is the day to say that I am not limited by what others say about me, what the past has taken from me, or what limits have been placed on me.  Today is the day that I going to change my future thereby changing my destiny for the better.

Every day is the first day of the rest of your life, but #DefineYourselfDay is the first day of the best of your life.

Today use the hashtag #DefineYourselfDay on Social media and declare:

  • My previous mistakes were only setbacks, they will not limit my potential #DefineYourselfDay
  • I am not limited by any disability to be successful ##DefineYourselfDay
  • I am no longer the person I was in the past. #DefineYourselfDay
  • I will no longer be ashamed of who I am #DefineYourselfDay

After making your declaration on #DefineYourselfDay, your journey begins that can change your life for the better.  Be sure to encourage your fellow participants on #DefineYourselfDay.   If you need some encouragement to get you going, check out the rest of #DefineYourselfWeek.
